If I send my GMT TT on jubilee back for a service and I asked them to put a root beer dial and bezel on would they? ( It was available as an option originally)

Per the GMT Master, RSC will only want to service components original to the watch. Someone correct me if I am mistaken here.

In Hong Kong they wouldn't even change a Pepsi insert to a Coke if it (I mean that very watch) wasn't sold that way originally. Don't know if this is worldwide policy.

Its possible as that option was available to that reference if your watch is from that time frame when root beer was available and there is no harm in asking so you have a 50-50 chance.

Why not just take off the bracelet?

Not sure how the bracelet matters...but I can tell you they may not have the dial in stock if your serial number range required a nipple dial...

RSCs will only replace and service parts that were original to the watch. You will have to find a good independent watchmaker for anything else. Good luck!

Always heard they would not do it.
If anyone knows an AD in the Baltimore-Washington area that will do a bezel swap on my GMT please let me know. I want to go "Pepsi" for a while, then switch back to the original "Coke" down the road (see avatar) |

I'd suspect not, though you should ask. I wanted to have a jubilee bracelet fitted to my GMT2 - RSC said no way.

I'd find someone (or do it yourself) to pop your existing insert out. Then take your watch in sans-insert and ask for a Pepsi. Alternately, you could just pay the crazy asking prices on this forum.

RSCNY will not change dials unless they have a specific reason. I was able to switch a champagne dial to a white dial on my zenith Daytona because they said it was a sight issue. It was hard to see the gold hands with the gold dial. Otherwise they wouldn't do it. As far as changing inserts, go in without the insert in the watch and tell them the color you wanted popped out. Hope that helps.

Have you looked for the pepsi in the for sale section here? It's a DIY once you have the insert...
