AP CEO interview
Came across this interview:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f1aVYJ1HOe0 I find this few points made interesting: 1) He talks about the white pieces. Interestingly a full ceramic AP with bracelet could be a possibility. 2) At one point he talks about chronographs, he says "one of my biggest hopes we see a lot of women wearing gold chronograph on their wrist, no need to say the name or the company" <--- what watch is he talking about here? could it be the Daytona? 3)Towards the end he says that only one thing that could kill AP only 1! but he ask them to shut down the recording and he will let the audience know! What could this be? smart watches? |

I didnt watch it but based on your statements:
1 - don't see why not, tech is out there since other brands have done ceramic bracelets before 2 - if he says he's hoping more women will be wearing gold chronographs from a certain company, I can only assume he means AP 3 - 0.14% chance it would be smart watches. If you do a search you'll see some previous topics that came up in the Rolex area that talks to this in depth. |

Very interesting
Yes I agree he was referring to the Gold Daytona as the lady's high end Chrono.

Okay, so he thinks it's great that women love wearing Daytona. Where's the 39 or 40mm Offshore Chrono then? That would be the perfect size for thin wristed guys as well. 42+mm Offshores are too large for me, 37mm Offshore is a bit too small

Very interesting interview. Thanks for posting.
I think the number one killer of the industry he refers to would be fakes. The quality of some are superb and will match the real thing one day.

Great video. I am sure he will continue to guide AP in the right direction
