116200 replacement
Hi guys, i'm new to the site so go easy.
I'm looking to replace a Rolex 116200 jubilee bracelet, White dial with Battons watch that was stolen about eight years ago (been saving since the divorce:-). On reading up in various places I would like an exact replacement (I prefer the non domed bezel but not the Datejust II type) BUT with a Roulette date. Questions, Is the Jubilee strap hard wearing? Am I being realistic in trying to get a Roulette date? Could I change the bezel from domed to the old style? Does anyone have one? don't forget I said go easy Thanks in advance |

often as subs and daytonas. Can post in the WTB also. Not sure which bezel you want. You want the fluted? See model 116234. Same watch as 116200 but with white gold fluted bezel. If not can you clarify which bezel you are looking for? There are tons of dials available, only a few come from the factory with the roulette date; generally the white, black and silver dials. You're good with the white stick dial so should be able to find that one with the desired date wheel. Jubilee is durable and is slightly more comfortable than the oyster. Also looks a little more dressy (both IMO). If you end up wanting to swap bezels, I'm not sure if old ones (eg. 16200) will work. Best regards, Jack D. |

Here's some pictures of the one I lost, if anyone can let me know what model etc it is I would be grateful. I purchased it new in 2006, the bezel is the older style but I don't know the name. Also if I was to replace with a used one what year did this bezel get made unto as I don't like the new 'domed' style.
Thanks in advance Karl's Rolex 1.jpg Karl's Rolex 2.jpg Karl's Rolex 3.jpg |

.
Bezel on a 116200 from 2006 is exactly the same as bezel on a 2014 116200 model. It's called doomed bezel. The only alternative (as was already said) for a Datejust of this generation (what we call 6 digits models) is fluted bezel on Datejust model 116234. 116234 is a little higher in price because fluted bezel is made of 18ct white gold, where doomed bezel on a 116200 is made of steel. There's no problem to find one or the other, and black/red date Wheel dépends on the dial you choose. White (batons) and white romans dials both are delivered with this bicolor date wheel. |
