Does the cyclops grow on you?

I like the Sub non date best but need the date function. I have skinny wrists at 6 ¾" and think the size of the Sea Dweller will be to large. If I get a Sub date will I learn to love the cyclops? Trying to decide before the apparent Canadian price increase (as per dealer) of May 1.

Thanks,
Budge

I like it a lot. Its Rolex signature and most important I can't see the date without it.

I didn't think I would like it.

A few weeks later and I love it!

I can shoot light at people with it as well! It is rather entertaining while im at work!

Not a fan. Get a pre-loved SD and avoid the px increase.

I learned to love it, no date watches are my preference but at work, the date does come in handy. The other bonus is my eyes are going and the cyclops makes reading the date much easier.

Not a fan.

You don't need a date function. You'll get used to not having it soon. It actually helps you think! :-) I have both an Explorer and Sub w/o date, about to add a Daytona.

I don't like the cyclops. I have it on my polar Exp II, not on my SubC. Like everyone else, I look at my iPhone for the date.

I generally find that you rarely "grow to love" a feature on a watch. If you don't like it before you buy it, you probably won't like it after you buy it.

Get the Sea Dweller.

No. It grows on trees! rofl:

I honestly love the cyclops, but there was a time when I thought it has a dated look to it. Not anymore.

So I guess yes, I became a fan with time.

I think it's great, a very useful feature. So much so that I would not consider the Tudor Glamour series now that they have done away with it.

If you need a date check out the SD. Clean looks of the Sub with a date.

Maybe try the new sd4000? That has a date function and no cyclops. It might not be too big

I like the cyclops but think it looks better on a date just than a sub. That being said, I have a non-date sub and I'm finding I miss the date feature.
