Is this thing even REAL???
Hello everyone! I don't know diddly about watches, so I'm happy I found this forum
Anyway, I'm here because my mom found a Rolex watch, but it could be a "Rolex", if you catch my drift. Can anyone tell me if you think this might be real or not? The watch is not in the best conditions, its broken from the band, and my nails aren't in the best condition either These are some of the things the watch says. I'll try to post pictures and hope they show up: P11 Steelnox 82523H 18 REGISTERED SWISSMADE 453> says this under the watch Rolex (duh) Oyster Perpetual date adjust |

I'm going to go out on a limb and declare this one to be a fake. At the very least the dial is fake. Pictures could be a little better for details, but I doubt they'll be necessary. There are a number of irregularities.
Others will be along shortly to offer their expertise. By the way, this thread should be in the "Watch Out" section, so don't be upset when it gets moved there.

Looks fake to me. Hard to tell on my phone, but it looks like the gold is coming off near the clasp.

Fake unfortunately. Hope you didn't pay too much. Welcome to the forum. These types of threads are usually in the "watch out" section as said before. They have some great posts that offer a lot of information to help you run from traps like these

Clasp code dates the bracelet to Nov 1991 and looking at the stamping on the clasp looks a more than usual heavy stamp. If you were to correspond the type of datejust available at that time it would have pin holes in the lugs.
Take the bracelet off and the shoulders to see what the codes are on the case if it has any? I'd say fake based on the pics and above

What everyone else said plus the SWISSMADE is incorrect.
