vintage rolex on Ebay
My son is becoming enamored with Vintage Rolex watches.
Unfortunately we are more familiar with Breitling, Panerai, Hamilton and others. I am ever more suspect of watches from Singapore etc. and anything on the bay where I can't use box and papers to help me identify the real thing. If you guys could help me I would appreciate it very much. Here are the links to the watches. http://www.ebay.com/itm/271221564402 http://www.ebay.com/itm/151293494787 http://www.ebay.com/itm/151292913860 |

All seem too risky particularly Korea. Why not buy from a great well know Vintage seller from TRF?

Agree on explorer. Don't know enough about other items to comment. I note that only one seller has 100%; the others are 97 and 98%, which is pretty weak considering the $$ investment.

Well they seem OK but he'd be better buying here. Seems he already respects TRF member opinions. Strange he wouldn't prefer trusted sellers here then.

I agree with the other comments on here, but 1 word of advice. Never rely on box and papers to help you as they are the easiest items to fake or re use. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Agreed but with panerai box and cosc cert the movement number can be verified
Also IMHO Box quality on fakes tends to be pretty inferior |

IMO the Rolex box is junk anyways. Tudor does a much nicer presentation.
