Rolex Date on the 'bay

http://www.ebay.com/itm/161311389491

Did this model come with a mother of pearl dial ever? I don't recall ever seeing one with a Rolex dial, just aftermarket.

Original or replacement, I do like the looks of it.

That's a lot of money for that model, especially on a leather band.

Compare the spacing between letter in the words "ROLEX" and "DATE" to an original dial and I suspect you won't like the looks of it so much...

Thanks. Not considering buying it, just had not run into a Date with a MOP dial.

I hadn't even looked at their other auctions. I see, everything is aftermarket.

Flea-bay or Nigeria? I call it a toss-up, risk wise.
