Does this look authentic? How much $?

Thoughts on it? and How much do you think I should pay if authentic?

Thank in advance!

Very old, Tritium Date (not datejust), badly scratched, horrible bracelet stretch. Personally, I'd pass, because for a little more you could get something quite a bit better.

thank you! I'm looking to spend no more than $1,700.00. I understand thats not much to work with, but I don't need anything fancy for my first one. Suggestions?

I would save a bit more money. $1700 is not much for a decent watch. Especially a rolex. Check out prices for pre-owned stainless steel Rolexes.

There are a lot of fakes on cheaper sites like Flea-bay, so be cautious.

Keep saving and looking. You'll find a better deal and you'll have more money to work with.

You don't need a perfect specimen, but you deserve a decent one.

Wait I am not sure that band is original and it's badly stretched. There are better examples

Someone on the FS forum is selling a nice Tudor for 995. It might be a good starter watch in the Rolex family.
