Icon6 510 & 511 now on OP's website

just noticed that the 510 & 511 are on OP's website.

510: http://www.panerai.com/en/watch-coll...-days-pam00510

511: http://www.panerai.com/en/watch-coll...-days-pam00511

"8 DAYS" text is official.....

but, maybe subtle in real life?

and maybe the 112 equivalent will get a PR on the back?

some 511 pix from OP's FB page:

I'll stick with my 111.

I really don't understand Panerai and how they "release" models. IMHO, their marketing regarding releases is horrible. They still have models from 2 or 3 SIHH ago that haven't been released.

i would have been sorely tempted to make the 510 my everyday PAM if it had the PR on the back and (especially) if it didn't have the "8 DAYS" text. as it stands, i don't feel "the need", though it still is a nice piece at a (relatively speaking) good price.

couldn't agree more. really just ZERO excuse. and why wasn't the 510 & 511 part of the SIHH hype? so strange. even if the new website is a big step forward.

in their defense, maybe even they have a problem keeping up with all the models?

The "8 days" on the dial kills it for me.

8 days without PR indicator... Kind of silly IMO.

OK, so I really dig the 510 personally. Maybe my next Panerai. But I'm with Mike, why the hell is there no PR indicator? That could be a deal killer over the 8 day for me. Speaking of, the 8 day always got me on the 190 as well.

Any idea when these will be available? And what about the 112 equivalent? That's one I'd like to see.

A P.3000 3-day movement would have made more sense. That would essentially make the 510 the in-house version of the 111. It's a prettier movement to boot.

I like the 510, though I'd save the $$ and buy a 111 instead. 3 days of PR is sufficient.

Dunno, guys... . I wind my 233 every Sun night - sometimes I still have a 1/4 tank but I'll wind it just to keep the habit. It's been running for almost a year non-stop. Yeah, I'm happy to have the PR indicator, but it's not a must. As I've hinted at a few times before, the 368 is my grail - PR on the back
Three days is impressive, but eight days is the magic number...

What is the difference in price, I read that SS 510 is 10% then 111. I wonder if that's accurate.

I think the 111 is only 56 hours.

510 & 511 now on OP's website

Although not perfect...and I also dislike the 8 days text...the 510 is probably going to be my next purchase. Tried one on today.

well if they phased out the 111 and the 112 then it would make more sense. but as of now its just muddled and cannibalistic.

Agreed, however through my frustrations and bitterness over the years they still charm the shlt out of me!
