Seriously, I never take my Rolex off.

I have a DSSD, it does have a tiny chip and thousands of scratches (that make none noticeable). I swim with it, go to gym, jetski, sleep you name it..

On occasion, while lying in the bath, I will give it a good wash but besides that it has been on my wrist for a few years now.

When I must take it off (to set the date) I feel naked..

How abnormal am I?

I wouldn't call you abnormal because lots of folks here are the same way. Me, I take my watch off every night and when I do any physical activity. I just don't like wearing a watch all the time. There are time, such as playing golf, when a watch just doesn't feel right on my wrist.

yip, I had that problem, but overcame it when I noticed how much the caddies were stealing cash out my bag, I thought a watch would be at risk so now play happily with a watch on. (That was one of the few times I took my watch off)..and yes cadies are cheap to pay where I come from..

i pretty much wear mine all the time.

i take it off only in the shower and at my desk. i don't like the feel of it on my computer.

but everything else is fair game.

I take my Rolex(es) off all the time, mainly to shower or to rotate to another watch. But I have a watch on all the time unless I'm in the shower.

I've had my Breitling for 14 years (in a couple of weeks time) and in all that time it's been off my wrist for 3 weeks which was when Breitling had it for a service.
Due another soon

Actually, on a different tack, I noticed Vanessa CW21's comment in an older thread about the extra wear playing golf with a watch on can cause (which she terms as "abuse"). Food for thought.

You're the sane one...........the guys on here, worried about hairline scratches on the clasp, taking a shower or going in a pool, working out, whatever.....there is seriously something wrong with them. Its a watch........wear it!!!!!

Mine comes off for sleep and any mechanical / home improvement work, but the latter is for safely reasons as well.

I've started riding my bike into the office a few days a week and I stick my DJ into a padded pocket in my backpack just in case I take a spill, but it goes right back on my wrist when I hit my destination (and stays on when I go into the shower when I get home)...

After my daily morning shower I start wearing my watches and when I go to bed I take them off for the night.
In some cases I change my good watches for a beater when working on my hobby cars or stuff like that.

It's on all the time. I have bad eyes so can't see the clock next to my bed without trying real hard to focus. Much easier to wear the watch when I wake up and wonder what time it is.
