I would save up for the Daytona. The Sub is a lot more versatile. You'd only miss it if you sold it.

I have the Sub n Daytona, I might like the Sub lil more. Go for the Daytona if that's what you want now, you can always go back to Sub.

I know the sub wears bigger but the Daytona is a unique piece and although I know it's not as legible as the sub and has no date function I don't know why I want it

Should I make the swap? I've got to add another 3 grand to it

Anyone care to make me reason or have any suggestions?
I think you should...Subs are everywhere now it seems and a Daytona is still very special...I have both but the Daytona is my most cherished and my Sub my daily beater and my President is my grail. You can alway pick up a new Sub later.
Go for it!

For 3 grand keep the Sub and get a different chronograph.
i.e. Omega, Tudor, etc.

No. Sub LVc and 3 grand comes up to way more than a new Daytona.

Save some more and add the Daytona, whenever you flip you lose a grand or more in the trade process. I prefer my Daytona over my sub and it has a black face, that said I could never see my collection without a sub, for me it will always define the brand.

The Omega suggestion in the interim sounds like an option as well.

Only time will tell. But sometimes we have to scratch that itch we get to see if it was worth it.

This is a super idea
