How much the price of stainless steel daytona will cost in 20yrs time if Rolex increase the price every year by 10%? Answer is very shocking, calculated to be: US$61892!!

That is an eye-popping increase. Of course, I still remember what my parents paid for their $500,000.00 home, $2,500.00, in the mid 1960's. Inflation takes a toll and is relentless.
But I think the future is unlikely to yield this pricing, at least in terms of dollars. The dollar is today at a low and these things change. Of course, none of us can know the future with certainty, but my guess is that $61,000.00 is a bit high. At the same time, what do I know? |

IMHO, the SS Daytona is still "cheap" when compared to the VC Oversea's Chronograph that has a movt. that is of equal quality like the Cal. 4130 from Rolex.

Well luckily Rolex doesn't seem to increase their prices EVERY year

Based on the current price progression I would hope this is not the case. Time will tell.

Just saw a Platinum DD with the Ice Blue dial at one of my ADs. The new tag on it said, "$47,750.00". With tax, you're at 50 grand for a Rolex DD. Outrageous.

It depends on what series, if it's M Series it's a great deal, the new MSRP on the TT Daytona is $13,000+ (For the United States) I think Europe & the Middle East it should be more than $13,000. So if it's a brand new Daytona you should have a great deal on your hands.
