Past it up

Had the elusive daytona in my hands today.
And i past it buy.Oh well.I guess the thrill of trying
to get it wore off.Still can't get my hands on that gmtc.
The daytona was a white face in New Jersey. If anyone
is interested happy hunting.Theres no list seek and you shall find.
I believe the price was right around 9500.00.{ouchhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh}.
Good luck.

$9500? isn't list $9200?

you passed on a new daytona? can't believe it, but you could have easily flipped it for an easy $1k profit.

Hi. Might be worth buying if you have the cash ready?? Could knock 750 - 1200 off the price of your GMT C ?

I have had many Rolexes but find the daytona the prettiest and most comfortable to wear.

IT SMILES AT ME!

I'm sure there are at least a dozen or more members here that would dearly love to get a SS DT even at the higher list. If you don't pick it up I think it would be awesome if you passed the sale off to one of our beloved here on the Forum.

BTW, I'm not asking for you to hook ME up, I already have mine.

Fair play to you dood.

It didn't sing to you and you let it go. If only every other person on the list was an honest and decent as you, there would be enough of the things to go round to those that really, dearly want them.

BTW this is no means a knock at anybody who is on the list or was on the list. If you want a Daytona fine, its a great watch and I'd love one...I just want to get annoyed getting on a list behind guys who are just looking to make some cash. It's the same with concert tickets, my kid's bear collection etc. Real 'fans' are the ones who miss out or have to pay through the nose.

I respect your decision 186.

Jim

One way to look at it is if you flipped it that would make the GMT II C that much cheaper, but to some that wouldn't be a popular choice. It's your call.
Personally, if your not in to making a profit on it, then what better choice but to hook someone up on the Forum here.

You could buy it and sell it to someone here for $500 more. You made 500 bones towards your GMT and made somebody here the owner of a SS Daytona at a decent price.

Time to call "Mythbusters"...I think walking in off the street and finding an AD that has a Daytona, at list, with nobody interested sounds like an urban legend. LOL.
