Just got this vintage beauty
Hi gang, greeting from Southern California. New to this wonderful world of Rolex
I just acquired this Beauty I believe to be known as a bubble back. Have not opened yet but I have not found this face anywhere online . I've looked with the search button here but I'm not good with forums. Can you tell me something about it? |

The face appears to be a redial by the lack of Swiss markings and the awful coronet

Yeah. I did see that but I've seen many that seem from that vintage without the second hand without the Swiss made writing. Ill have it opened and do more research Thanks for your input

I opened the back and saw that it is truly a Rolex with a 2940 movement. Can anyone tell me what year it is from? Is it considered mens or womens?
Thanks |

The watch should be from the 1930-40s. Dial has been refurbished.
