This one is available for around £33-34K. I know the dealer and they are good guys with a good rep.

The best AD price I have seen is $60K pre-tax. I acquired mine BNIB for less!

Fact of the matter is Rolex understood how to float this piece in a fickle
Marketplace... The new variants will be out soon, and once the First run is out of stores the price will tip up again. I've personally Seen and held a plastics in-place open card plat Daytona for $55k Otd. It's just too much watch for me, but still feel it's mark on my Wrist. If you can snag this for $60k otd, from an AD, with signed Papers - by all means have at. |

Well everyone certainly has their varied experiences on this topic and if you are willing to shop around a significant "deal" can be had!
The bottom line is it is truly an amazing watch and I wish all trying to get one best of luck and hope you do get it!! |

I've worn mine pretty much every day since I got it...that's worth the price of admission right there.

Seems like this post has been dead for a few years, Curious what, in 2018, people are seeing discount wise here.

Fun thread to read four years later!
I haven't shopped it recently but believe all Daytonas are a little more dear than they were a year or so ago. I'd consider a slightly used one if that doesn't bother you. It didn't bother me. (edit) It's nice to see that many of the big boosters in 2014 are still big boosters today!

I’ve thought about selling mine. Reading this thread made me remember it’s the KING of Rolex! Mine is safe for a while!
I was trying to make sense of my collection, but the whole thing is senseless!

Just read another thread which the OP was offered 30% discount on two. I wonder if it will be the same for one. Maybe you should talk to him and get 3 together. Maybe you will get 35% off!!

Bringing this post back up to the top, got the call today for one. I asked about it like 6 months ago, planned to take a look at it and it sold the day before I went in....funny because it had been on the shelf for 3 months prior.
I'd like to pick one up, but not at 75k. I think 60 would be my target but I'm not sure an NYC dealer would go for that. I pay full retail for everything except I got a 10% discount on a YG YMII. Ideally I can get him to 30% but that seems unrealistic, 25 would make me ecstatic. The idea of full retail + a SS is interesting, although I'd never wear that SS and would want to sell it. I've already got a WG Steel + Black daytona and with a platona who has time to wear the SS version ?! Now if I can do full retail + an aquanaut then we're in business ;-)
