Opinion before I buy please
Hello everyone.
Been a little while since I have been on here. Work has got in the way unfortunately. I am on the edge of buying this 16710 and at the payment stage. Can anyone see a reason why I should not buy this, does everything look o.k? I know Rolex's a little bit but an experts eye would help put me at ease. Comes with box and papers plus a service receipt from 2011. Thanks http://www.chrono24.it/rolex/gmt-mas...ch%2Findex.htm |

I'm no great expert, but it looks good to me. Fair price.

My only apprehension would be the fact that the seller is in Italy.....lots of threads on issues buying watches from there.

Thanks.
I am actually working in Spain at the moment so both overseas. Done some re-search on the seller and found numerous posts for Rolex watches. Been speaking to him for about a week now and he SEEMS like a genuine dealer so we will have to see. |

Looks ok, price ok (not a bargain). I would prefer a couple of years newer so it had solid end links, that's all.

Perhaps you wait for one to come up for sale on the forum... I just bought one this week for around the same price as that if you convert the Euros to Dollars. The difference is mine is from 1999 and came with both coke and pepsi bezels. The one you are looking at has the older bracelet clasp (not sure when they changed it) and pretty sure that one has the older Tritium indexes instead of Luminova/Superluminova if that matters to you at all.

Hi everyone.
Thanks for the tips. Waiting for some more photos of the paperwork which should be coming on Monday/Tuesday. I have looked on the forum but many are in the US. By the time I pay import/VAT it would put the price up considerably. Unless there was one in the EU? I have managed to get the price down a little from the advert which is a bonus. I will check the classifieds on here again now. Thanks again everyone. On the tip of buying a new Rolex so looking for the best deal. |

Looks like the sale may have fell through.
I asked for a photo of the service papers but had no response for a few days. Back on the look out. May try my luck on here and put a wanted advert up. Thanks everyone. |
