From personal experience, yours will be back fairly quicker than most other bands... I email him about every 3 months just saying hello and he cannot be any nicer.. What a great guy.. And yes you will not regret for a second your decision upon his return.. Enjoy

Did he say what your turn around time was? Want to maybe send my dads jubilee and mine to him to tighten them up again.

Just out of curiosity for those that have used MY's services before.. After he tightens up the bracelet, does it take years to loosen back up as if it were new, or do you find it loosens up in less time?

Uansari, I am coming up on my one year anniversary getting mine back (Pres bracelet) from MY and so far it is still the same as when I received it back the very first day.I took pictures that day as your question is what I wanted to know as well, so every now and then I hold my watch out at a 90 degree angle next to my picture and so far not a difference at all. Also, it depends on you. I have a cushy desk job and do not sleep in it, etc... Your own preventive maintenance will be the key to it all

Michael Young Oyster - before and after.

Well folks, just got the bracelet back today. Cost 160 euros all in incl post. It needed a new link pin and clasp linkage also. Michael also buffed out a set of initials which were engraved on the clasp. What I got back is a presentable decent oyster, still a little movement between the upper lug end links but I can live with that as the links where seriously badly worn. I wasn't quite sure what the expect as the bracelet was a basket case (see the before pics.) I would give it a very good rating. You wont get a new bracelet back if you send a piece of junk to him, but its very nice work. See pics of repaired bracelet.

I'd be pleased with that work too. Good for many more years of use!
