It will be interesting to see the "sold" prices.
Wonder if they get published. The prices listed are just in their opinion the FMV. Lets see the real deal after the auction is over. |

Now this a one coll Rolex collectible... I could see JJ setting this up in his living room could'nt you?
Dealer Window Display. Made in the 1930s. Wooden display with moving parts to demonstrate the function of the Rolex “Rotor Self-Winding Mechanism.” Custom-made display, the elephant’s head nodding up and down, moving the hinged letter “R” which bears a Rolex self-winding rotor in the upper opening, thus simulating the motion of a person’s wrist. Simultaneously an Oyster case, mounted in the “E,” is rotating slightly. All moving parts are driven by an electrical pendulum with a mercury switch (110 V) mounted in the back. Dim. 66 x 42 cm. Depth 14 cm. In good overall working condition Estimate: 3,000 USD - 5,000 USD Estimate: 2,000 EUR - 3,400 EUR
