The dial is UGLY in my opinion. I would have rather seen a dial like what is on the Yachtmaster blue but a couple shades darker.

Has Rolex ever made/marketed a special commemorative model like this before?

thoughts on the DSSD Cameron now?

personally I LOVE this one but can't justify the extra several thousand just for the color. to each their own, if it were teh same price, or just 10-20% more I'd opt for the deep blue1

I definitely wish this had a blue bezel.

Is it limited? If so, it's nice to see a modern LE from Rolex. If it is limited, I think I'll try to pick one up.

I really like it. I already have a black and blue Rolex so I know the colours can work well together. Looking forward to seeing it in person. Fantastic piece of engineering even if it isn't everyone's taste.

And here we were thinking Rolex may discontinue the Deep Sea after launching the ceramic Sea Dweller. This one took a sudden twist. Not for me though.

I think the color combination is just absolutely dreadful.
...and if I wanted to read, I'd buy a book.

I'd have to see that dial in person. I think the 3 color thing is interesting.

Wow...just wow.

That is atrocious. Looks like a Bamford slop-together job. Is that even the same font they use for everything else?

Thanks but no thanks "Big R".

Has there ever been a Rolex limited edition? It's early here and not had my first coffee yet.

Whether you and I like the blue dial and green writing or not;
It still will the same behemoth size on our wrist and that will still be a turn off to some.
...I do think it is cool how Rolex rolled this out beyond It's natural way of doing things.
