First year/serial the SS Diver was released

Tried to do a search on this subject but couldn't find it. I'm actually curious about all Diver variations.
Anyone know the answer? Need to enrich my knowledge of APs.

Can't say I know but I am guessing submarino could tell you. Maybe someone with more knowledge will chime in here.

I'm far from an expert. But, the divers that I have seen are "H" series. The predecessor "Scuba" would have been earlier series. "G" usually. I stand to be corrected.

Its predecessor, the Wempe, was released in 2005, but the first official Diver came out in 2010. I think this would place them in G series...

Thanks for the reply guys! This is why I love TRF

Another question is,
I thought they roll the serials every calendar year to the next alphabet?
Am I wrong here?
If they first release the Diver in 2010 with a "G" serial, I'm assuming the same serials spanned across multiple years?
My new Diver is a "I" serial.

Not sure how long they use a letter, but it most certainly is more than a year. And of course, that is on the production side, you don't know how long a particular retailer has had a watch in inventory, so this is not an exact science by any means. I have an H from January 2013 and May 2013 and an I from December 2013.

OK thanks
I guess we can ballpark the production date just like with Rolex before they rolled to random serials.
