Unscientific Survey

Well we had a thread recently about AP and accuracy. I've monitored my three AP's over the last two weeks and I've been surprised. All were worn in regular rotation and left on a Wolf 3 watch winder when not on my wrist. Not counting seconds, all were spot on the correct minute. So much for a pattern of poor accuracy. Let's have a poll.

Had a few H serial numbers that were fast. All I's have been spot on.

I have three and all have run fast. One has been back to Clearwater, came back fine and is now running fast again. My most recent (l serial) started out fine and now is fast as well. Love them but I have eta based watches that are far more accurate. But I am not an accuracy freak so it doesn't bother me that much.

Can you quantify what ranges you mean? I'd say mine are accurate, but depends on how accurate you mean. :)

I've owned a 15400 and an AP Diver and both pretty darn accurate.

3 gorgeous watches you have there btw.

My I serial will gain 5 seconds if left face up in a box all day but only gain 2 seconds if worn for half the day.

Nice collection!
My D,E,H,I are running a little faster or slower than each other… not easy to keep track but generally acceptable to me

2 of my 6 were fast. One was +15 sec a day and the other was more like +30 or more but only when worn for long periods of activity. AP quickly fixed them both during the B1 pressure test and both have been perfect since.

15400 is spot on, Diver gains 3-4 a day, inline with my Rolexes (and others).

My 15300 is spot on with my 16610 after I sent it in for a 3rd year warranty and service. Started out running just a wee bit fast at first. Nothing I'd normally bitch about, but I was sending the thing in anyway and had it taken care of under warranty. Overall, solid.
