Audemars Piguet 2014 Royal Oak Offshore Tourbillon Chronograph

Guys, just found out that AP has released this beauty! Guess what, the unique forged carbon is still alive, and the all new in-house automatic tourbillon chronograph movement is simply STUNNING! Just look at the S-shaped coupling yoke!

I've attached two images from Purists for all you watch lovers to admire. (I had copied the images from Purists and I would like to give credits to them!)

What's your thoughts, guys? I must be the first to admit that I love it A LOT!

Amazingly understated yet unique. I want it.

Or at least to try on Conkers' if he ever comes to NY.

Looks good however the minute & hour counters look kind of small. Really would like to see this piece up close 👍

It's a very attractive watch. I own it's poor cousin the FC 44mm Chrono. Two things that jump out at me are the small sub dials and no date. I've got old eyes and those sub dials are probably not visible to me. It's a moot point as I would never spring for a tourbillon.

Hmm, not entirely convinced, would want to see it next to the Platinum Tourbillon Chrono ROO.

Slightly O/T but I didn't realise the titanium version of the ROO Tourbillon Chrono is a 30 piece limited edition for US Boutiques only.

Very cool watch! Those hammers at the back make the watch look as though it's a minute repeater lol

Not very sure of this one on first impression. Very assymetrical. Have to see one IRL to judge for myself.

Didn't know that Roger.
But the Plat & RG versions aren't US & boutique only, correct?

Neither did I, one of my grey dealers just offered me one and it seems to bear out based on Royal Oak Club data.

Plat/RG versions are limited production but not limited edition pieces, correct.

I like the material combo: FC case, ceramic bezel and sapphire inner track. I would prefer an "AP" emblem on the dial. The cut-out window at 2 o'clock on the dial is a distraction to the tourbillon mechanism which should be the main attention of the watch. Another fine ROO nonetheless.
