Being offered this Royal Oak

Please give opinions? I know the pictures are not good at best but I'd appreciate the experts opinions here. Thank you.

Very poor pictures. Looks very rough to me. Signs of stretch and polishing. Crown is in poor shape. Screws on the back seem to have been damaged? Can't see the serial numbers on the scratched case back. This is probably not the best place to put your money.

I'm trying to figure out if this is actually a real RO. it looks like the old 36mm, but I've never seen it with writing under Audemars Piguet....Whatever it is, it's been polished one too many times and you can that on the crown (which looks off BTW), the bezel edges, etc. the SS discoloration is very suspicious.... I agree also that the bracelet has a lot of stretch....both front and back screws look rough....

Like I said, not even sure if this is real...I'd pass...

There's a pristine 36mm on eBay for $5.5K....

if my friend picks it up in a trade, hopefully I'll be able to see it to make better pictures then what are shown by the owner. as it looks in the pictures now, it looks like it was dragged around town for many years so until I see it in the flesh I'm not happy about it.

Thanks Gents, I will pass per evaluation and advice given. Thank you. But I'd still like to get an opportunity to see it in person and make better pictures to show here.

Thanks for telling me of the eBay auction. Seller is asking way more. $6500 US I think.

I wouldn't get it, you can probably get a much nicer condition 14790ST in the $6500 to $8k price range.

My advice don't buy it, the condition is so bad and it will cost you a bomb to get it done by Audemars Piguet. Looking at your pictures, this watch have been "serviced or repaired" by some untrained watch repairer! Sorry to say, this watch is in a disaster!

Thanks everyone I passed and I'm sure my friend may have as well. I think once I pointed out some observations I made, so he as what looks like a dent on upper right lug, he knew it wasn't for me. Condition is poor I agree.
