The Last Oyster

Anyone know when the last Oyster (6426?) went out of production and Rolex went from offering both manual and perpetual to Oyster Perpetual-only? I think it was late 80s sometime, but would like to know the last year.

thanks,
Adam

1989 seems to be the last year for a lot of classics

That's good to know. I have a fairly comprehensive 1991 Rolex catalogue with no manual watches at all.

The new cellinis are pretty nice
Do you have a manual wind in your collection Adam? You should get that linen 6426 if it's still available
