I like the old Lange moon phase better. If between this and 5146 I would go 5146 every time. Consider the saxonia annual calendar IMHO that is a stunner that gives 5146 a run for it's money.

I love this model and considering this as my next purchase. Montreal dealer doesn't have it yet as it's a brand new release in this size. I must confess I fell off my chair when I heard the price. Yes it's high end.. But they are definitely in Patek territory now with pricing. I'll be in Germany mid sept. I'm hoping it will be cheaper there. I think this watch is stunning and the new size is just right with the times.. JMHO

FYI I checked the price in germany ant it's €32K for export ie vat excluded. In Paris it's about 31k w/o vat and after 5% discount, the max I could get. Hope it helps

Thanks.. Amazing how it's not cheaper in Germany at all. I can get it in Montreal for c$ 48k tax in. That's Euro 33k. And includes all taxes.

I'm amazed you can't get 10%~15% discount in Germany. I find it's just too much $ for this model.

I preferred the location of the mp in the previous model but if you want a lange, far be it from me to talk you out of it. They are simply stunning in person! Given the choice between what you mentioned, I'm taking the 5712r.

Do it!

It's a brilliant watch and I would have it over the other watches mentioned. But I also prefer the proportions of the previous model. Worth comparing them if you can.

I like this model better than the old Lange moonphase. The dial is just exquisite. Only issue I have is the 3/4 plate at the back. I wish to see more of the movement.

I'd choose the Lange

It's a German thing.

While I absolutely adore Lange, the Patek would be the choice for me.
