Buying a rolex online

It is time for me to buy a well deserved rolex for my wife
(she just gave birth to our first child) some of you may say I am already late for this purchase but better late than never!
Can anybody tell me If there are any reputable online sellers?
Anybody Heard of:http://www.steindiamonds.com/ are they trustworthy
They offer 30 day money back and free shipping
Any suggestions?
Thanks!

i bought my wifes from swissluxury.com. everything is perfect, watch was brand new still in the plastic with all of the proper books, papers stamped from the original ad and packaging. the only difference from the gmt2c i bought from my ad was the money. i will defiantly buy from them again if they have the best price. hope this helps.

I've looked at Steindiamonds online for some time. I have heard good things from others here about them and I would buy from them. They also give you a nicer discount if you bank wire the money.

Congratulations on your newborn

Congrats on your new addition! Any reason you want to buy online instead of from an AD?

I personally think it would require real big "balls" to buy such an expensive item online.

I can't imagine myself mustering up the courage and guts to plonk down such a large sum of money WITHOUT even having seen what the hell I'm about to get from the vendor.

Frankly, I want to see what I'm buying BEFORE parting with a single cent!!

But then that's just me!!

I would have to agree and the fact that you are buying for your wife is another thing, like what if she doesnt like it after you get it what then? I would just prefer to buy from an AD. Just give her a nice card telling her you love her so much blah blah blah and bring her up there. Have fun with those late nights.

alanfurman.com is very reputable. He is a neighbor of a business associate of mine so he's local to me. I hear a lot of people have bought from him and have been very happy. I just bought a GMT IIc online from eb-y and it worked out great. I just made sure I got a lot of good pics first.

Price is the only motivation, assuming I am able to get a real rolex the savings are substantial.

Buying online is fine as long as you get references.

Thanks everybody for all the prompt feedback and well wishing. I am already following on some of the leads. My sister lives in Bethesda so I may send her on a reconnoissance mission at alan furman.
Keep the suggestions coming!!!

that was easy, i took my wife to the ad and she picked out what she wanted. i tried to deal with them and they weren't interested. came home and ordered it from swissluxury. the watches are all from the same factory. the lowest bidder gets to furnish me with it. she got exactly what she wanted and new exactly how it looked on her wrist.
