Icon10 Happy again, my new purchase(s)...

Afternoon all,

Well after a long wait since my burglary, finally I have a replacement for my T/T Blue Sub.. I decided not to replace 'Bluesy' with the same for a couple of reasons.. Firstly, as much as I liked it, I didn't wear it that much due to feeling it was a bit dressy in some situations, and a little 'flash' to wear for work (I'm in sales)... I also wanted a watch with a strap, and my second buy today will have one soon, once I can find the Omega Orange Alligator at a reasonable price

I've also always loved the LV Sub, particularly now it has the CRB, just adds a little more IMO. I think it will be a classic for years to come...

I had a great experience at Goldsmiths in Torquay, where the manager John couldn't go far enough out of his way for me - a true gent, and the person that will supply me any other watches in the future I hope. I was very happy to drive 7 hours today in total for the service he gave.. Thanks again to Oystermann (Neil) for his tip off, and to topcat30093 (Tony) for his advice and kind words.

Here's some quick pics - hope you enjoy :-

Those are great photos just like you promised.
I know that I speak for both Neil & I when I say that it was a pleasure to help.
We knew that you coudn't go wrong with John. A true gent as you said.
If you are wondering why you may not of heard from Neil, its because he is currently away until the end of the week.

Nice Omega Planet Ocean. I saw a guy wearing one of those with the orange leather band. What's your opinion of that look? It certainly gets your attention.
