RSC called

I dropped my SS Daytona off at RSC on 3/17/08 and they called today to say it is done. Will be picking up at the end of the week. Post pics of before & after when I pick it up.

Did you drop it off at an AD or RSC . I brought mine directly to RSC personally, avoided shipping, maybe that helped me out with the short wait cuz they told me 3-4 weeks & it's only been 2.

I dropped it off at an AD 2/26/08 (not 3/26/08 sorry) they gave me a list of things to fix that I approved on 2/29/08. They said it would take four weeks. 35 days today. I am hoping it is in route back to SC from RSC.

BTW mine is a SS Sub Date that is about 15 years old. I will be able to tell exactly how old since I have found this forum but I don't have my watch to review the serial number.

My bill came to $692 for factory movement, gaskets & water/pres-prf, polish Monobloc crown, refinish case & bracelet. A case tube also. First service on the Y series

Not bad. I thought a Daytona service was about $1,000-1,200?

Have you ever had it serviced before?

When you get it back, can you please give a description of what they did and a price please? Even if you want to do it via PM?

Thanks
