Colloidal silver and Kefir water
Does anyone here use them?
I've been hearing a lot about each of them lately so naturally I came here to get a wider perspective. I'd be interested to hear of your experiences with each.

What are you trying to fix?
There is nothing magic. Fermented stuff is good. Save some money and put some fermented sauerkraut on a hot dog. |

Not sure if "kefir water" is the same as "kefir". Kefir is a fermented milk drink, originally from Russia but popular across Eastern Europe. It is becoming more and more popular across the West. I use it when I can get it, and think it makes a difference. I am not sure if it will cure specific conditions but I can say that things generally do trundle along better in the nether regions after a glass or two. It can cause a lot of wind if over consumed. I also like the taste but shaking before drinking is very important.
Personally I think it is something that is good to drink for general health (e.g. high in calcium) and digestion. |

Colloidal silver if used incorrectly can turn your skin a blue hue. Google it. It was banned years ago as a medical treatment. It's still available as a supplement. here is a quote on misuse of colloidal silver:
Argyria most affects skin that receives regular exposure to sunlight, leading doctors to believe that silver stimulates pigment production. The combination of pigment and silver ions turns the skin blue-gray. The effect appears to be irreversible. Makes me want a bottle of it. |

I don't think colloidal silver will do anything significantly beneficial, its a naturopath remedy that does not have solid scientific support.

Never done the silver, but kefir is easy to make. You can also make water kefir, which is non dairy, but there are loads of other options for fermented foods and beverages that will give you the same benefits.
