How do eBay sellers getting away with 'aftermarket' bands?
As you can see in the pictures, the band is stamped with the Rolex crown, so it's a fake/replica, not just a plain, look-alike band.

i am with you, you are 100% correct its illegal, however these sellers make big money for ebay and ebay is not interested in shutting them down its not in thier financial interest.

Surprised that Rolex don't take on some of these 'higher profile' sellers though...

Thank you for your very informative posts. For clarification, all of our aftermarket bands do NOT have any Rolex logos or markings. Only original Rolex bands will have Rolex markings.

I agree if the post has a Rolex logo, then it is illegal. As for Beckertime, they are reputable. The posting has some tricky wording, but doesn't say the band is Rolex. They often sell on aftermarket bands, but they never claim they are Rolex.
THE SOLID 18K YELLOW GOLD PRESIDENTIAL BRACELET WITH HIDDEN CLASP IS IN SUPER EXCELLENT CONDITION. IT IS A CUSTOM ITALIAN MADE AFTERMARKET BAND OF THE HIGHEST QUALITY AND HALLMARKED 18K ON THE INSIDE OF THE CLASP. IT WILL FIT UP TO A 7 3/4" WRIST. |

I have bought items from Matt at Beckertime. He is a stand up guy. I cant imagine him selling any non genuine items and passing them off as genuine.

It's certainly odd that the advertisement clearly says aftermarket band, and it clearly has the Rolex logo prominently on it. I could see recycling an oysyer clasp, but not the hidden presidential clasp.
Hmmmm?

It's very common to use the original clasp from a president band. Why wouldn't you?
