If you have kids that drive...

Everyone needs to see this but if you have young drivers in your family, they really need to see this!!!

A Hong Kong movie theater asks its patrons to leave their cellphones ON when they enter the movie. Using that, Volkswagen made an eye opening ad...

Very cool. Will have to show this to my daughter. Unfortunately, I think it's often the parents are just as guilty!

Definitely need to have every young driver see this. Nothing scares me more than seeing people texting while driving.

Fantastic idea. I got hit and run by a texter a few weeks ago. Got the plate and make/model, awaiting news from the investigation. Mild damage to my car, no injury, but sure did peeve me, let alone the ensuing inconvenience of getting things fixed, insurance, etc.

I'm one of those kids who forgets it's mobile phone almost every day... I've never used it in the car, not even with a hands-free kit and I never will.

Interesting... Still a good idea, but clearly not an original one, good sleuthing!

Both good videos. I have blue tooth in the car. Seems like blue tooth devices are relatively inexpensive compared to a human life. ;-)

Impactful. And a smart way to engage the message interactively. I'm baffled everyday seeing mom's with toddlers in the back texting while driving through busy intersections. Sigh.

We do not have teenage drivers yet. However we have friends that do. They require that their kids lock their phone in the trunk before leaving anywhere. They loose their driving privileges for a month if they get caught not complying.

There are also apps that will disable the phone while car is on motion as well.
