Incoming......or not!
My friendly AD delivered me a Novelty Rose Gold which I wasn't quite ready for as I have had a few other incomings recently. I have owned one before (albeit not the newer 26401 version), and of course it is a fabulous watch. Still all stickered up etc..
Should I keep it or sell it? Anyone want it if the latter? |

Roger, I own RG 44 and of course it's amazing, but I have a feeling once you're into the RM world, as you are, AP might not satisfy the appetite.
Albeit, AP 44MM is one that I think should be in ANY rotation. One of the best AP's--period. |

I personnally don't like ROO's, whatever the model, so I would say sell it...

I am with Paul. I wonder if there will be a day when my 44mm RG Novelty does not bring me joy... you are at another level Roger :).

Depends on the other incomings:) starting to look at the rOO line after being indifferent for a long while - can see the appeal for the sports segment

I say no as you stated you already owned one and flipped it. Plus you're in the RM camp and loving it from what I read. Keep the RM's coming

Very wise words Jen. I pressed the master reset about 8 weeks ago and sold everything bar a ROO beater. However fate was working against me and I have had three incomings over the last few days! No more for now I hope! Unless the 5131 arrives of course! Or a bargain from one of my friendly dealers!

The very fact that you have put it out here for opinions, speaks for itself. Had you really wanted it there would have been no need for reassurance. I say the answer you want is a no.

I would definitely keep it, but that's me - however Roger you are at a higher level so for you it has to be a No.
Do you still have a Plat Schumi, seem to recall a post that you had one, now that I would say keep😄 Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I own many much higher priced watches and I still love my novelty 44 RG. I use it mainly as my "beater" but I really don't beat it up. It is one of the nicest looking watches AP has ever made IMHO. You can go do anything with it. However Roger with you rotation in and out of some great pieces, I would caution you personally as others have said.

Now on holiday for a week. Will decide when I get back. Platinum Schuey went sadly as part of a huge trade. I agree with El on this piece and when the novelty (pun intended) of my RMs has worn off a little I am sure I will be happy to own this classic AP.

Don't think the RM11 'novelty' will wear off too soon...but the AP and RM can co-exist quite nice IMHO.

Funny how we WIS's own a stunning piece only to flip it, miss it, rebuy same watch at later date. I had my first 44RG and sold it, regretted selling it, purchased another and I'm keeping this one! I say keep it!!!

It's fate is to sell it, the only reason to keep it is if you like it more than your RM. Which I doubt.
