A friend of mine owns Great Plains Towers in Fargo. He builds cell and radio towers in a 15 state area. He maintains the KVLY TV tower in North Dakota, which is 2,063 feet high. The station shuts down the power for maintenance from midnight to 5AM. It's a two hour climb up and two hours down, leaving one hour to work on the antennae, lights, etc.

Kevin did an episode of "Dirty Jobs" on which he took Mike Rowe to the top of a 300 foot tower. Even though Kevin has more money than God, he still climbs towers every week.
