Watch "How to Shorten a Nato / Zulu Watch Band" on YouTube
How to Shorten a Nato / Zulu Watch Band: http://youtu.be/Cx31V1_pQKQ
Came across this, thought it was genius and that it may prove useful to folks with smaller wrists. |

The Rolex forum is for.....Rolex. That's why we have other forums.

Not noticing this thread was moved I recreated it in the non-rolex forum. Not sure how to delete this one. Sorry for the confusion.

Did this a few years ago to a couple of my straps. Works fine but I have a couple of suggestions from my experiences. 1.) Don't use a zippo to re-melt the end. It leaves a lot of black carbon deposits on the end. A little unsightly. Use a torch type lighter or like I did a soldering iron. 2.) Apply heat source lightly and sparingly. You'll have a smoother finish to the end.

If they are that easy to shorten then why don't they just make them longer so they fit my damn 8" wrist better?! Please post a video on how to lengthen them!
