Poll: Most Profound "Peacock Piece" -- aka "Statement-Making" Yellow Gold Rolex?

Dear forum members, I have recently had the fortune of being able to afford my first precious metal Rolex. I'm thinking Yellow Gold because I want something obvious that will make an extremely clear statement, with the greatest possible amount of wrist presence. I am a relatively young guy (below 30), and have a couple of candidates in mind.

- Rolex Daytona Yellow Gold w/ Black Diamond Dial
- Rolex Ceramic GMT Yellow Gold "Tennis Court" Green Dial
- Rolex Ceramic Submariner Yellow Gold Black Face Dial
- Rolex Ceramic Submariner Yellow Gold Blue Face Dial
- Rolex President Day-Date w/ Black Diamond Dial
- Rolex Sky Dweller in Yellow Gold

Any thoughts (and votes) would be interesting and greatly appreciated. TYIA

Full Yellow Gold DayDate II Chanpagne Romans (see various threads of mine for pictorials)

If you want to make a statement, go with the fully diamond paved GMTIIc, otherwise wear what you like for only your own self!!

Buying a watch solely for the purpose of impressing others is a little silly. However, to answer your question, I would say that the YG Yachtmaster II is the most "in your face" YG Rolex...something about the white dial, blue bezel and overall size makes it a watch with a ton of wrist presence.

My $.02.

If you had a nice hit and you've got extra cash, buy a nice SS watch and save the rest.

If your regularly raking in a lot of loot and you don't see an end to that, go nuts. Enjoy urself. I understand having a little pizaz to ur watch, but buy what you like best.

Congrats on your good fortune!
I'd have to think a Day-Date2 on a President bracelet would be the most recognized as a Rolex. The gold part will be an obvious statement regardless of the model.

I have to second the YG Yachtmaster II. I have a client who has one and it just jumps right off the wrist.

I would go with the black dial YG Sub, as it is one of my grail pieces and the black dial wears better than the blue IMO. God luck with your decision!

Overall, I would agree on the Leopard Daytona with diamonds. May we ask why it is so important to make a statement and stand out?

just get a really really big Cuban link bracelet in 14k gold if you want to make a statement. 99.999999 percent of people won't know you are wearing a rolex, those that do probably won't be impressed as they probably have one or 30 of them already. Honestly.....buying a rolex to make a statement and to be noticed etc etc may not be the way to go for you. Another thing to consider Is that people that have a hunch will assume it's fake. I'm relatively young as well, had my first few solids in my late 20s and no one noticed or asked and that's the way I liked it. And that's probably what will happen to you, except you are looking for attention.

That might do the job for the OP if it had a matching gold & diamond bracelet Muzzy.
