Are you at all concerned about the operation of the watch... how about checking whether the impact affected the function or timekeeping...

Really, it's your watch. Do with it as you will and pay no attention to those who aren't the owner. Get it repaired if you will, live with it or sell it (or anything else you want). It is yours and yours alone.

I completely get all of the comments about "character" and it's part of the deal having a watch and all of that but it comes down to each individual person. I know myself that I have great difficulties with imperfections on anything and this would bother me but as I say we are all different and it will come down to whether you are able to live with it or not.

I know I'm overreacting but still lol

Of course timekeeping is important. It is still keeping good time so far. I have got over the scratch I'm just wondering if pressure testing is now required. Thanks everyone for your help

I took a very small bit of steel out of a lug last week after banging my sub on a hotel sink.. It sucks, but it happens. You will be fine, and honestly this is just the first of many bangs, dings, scratches, and dents.

It couldn't hurt to get it pressure tested for peace of mind.

Good Luck!

Considering how many posts we see about shattered crystals and cracked bezel inserts I'd say you got off pretty easy...

It's minor. Just enjoy your watch. Even if you have it repaired or you get a new one, it will eventually get dinged and scratched.

You're good to go brother...I'm sure it will buff out...

I spent today in the pediatric oncology unit of a great local teaching hospital,...my sister is a doc there. I spent the afternoon holding hands and listening to the dreams of an eight year old...she won't see Christmas, but of course, she doesn't know that. Smart, smart girl...a freaking waste. Sickening.

Of course, we all have our priorities...I've had the same day date for thirty years, one day I'll have to look to see how many dings she has...might even have to consider sending her in for her first service...
