Does the Deep Sea have a Matt or a Gloss Dial?

Matte. I think Rolex will back to matte dial in all sport models in the future.

Interesting it has a matt dial, but the 43mm watch case doesn't necessarily mean the dial will be any bigger than the existing SD. This is because the new inner bezel ring must add about 4mm to the width of the case. It might even be that the dial on the Deep Sea is smaller than the dial on the SD.....

I think the dial is bigger for sure..
Also, there is no question it is matt it has been confirmed by rolex people at Bazel
