Up for grabs is a Rolex Submariner Date

1680 reference "red" with Mark 2 Meters First Dial

2.25 mil serial number which is correct for the dial circa 1969

Excellent vintage condition case with thick and even lugs. Crown is evidently original twin-lock, has damage on side as seen in pics. Crown is still fully operational as should be. Both serial and reference numbers are fully intact. Thick and even crown guards.

Dial is excellent MK2 Meters First with even cream patina and matching tritium hands. No paint chipping, scratching, corrosion, bubbling on dial. Date disk is correct with open 6's and 9's.

Bezel is insert is excellent fat font

Bracelet is excellent 9315 folded link with 280 ends, 11 links, PATETED diver's extension, and B date code on clasp. Bracelet shows moderate stretch from wear.

Caseback is excellent and stamped 1680 and ll.69

No box or papers. No service history. Watch just received new gaskets, crystal and pressure test.
