Now for the BIG question: What would YOU have liked to see from Rolex, Basel?

Simple question, guys? What were your personal expectations from Rolex out of the Basel Fair?

I would have loved to see just these TWO:-

1. A new SS GMT-II with a PEPSI Ceramic bezel.

2. A new DJ in SS as well as TT in 40 mm.

Now that would have been very, very welcome!!

Cheers - JJ

Yes, it would have been very welcome

JJ, we can look on the bright side...

Since the 40mm DJ was not released this year, we have just a little more time to save

I would have liked to see a new Pepsi with a juby option.

I would have liked to see an overhaul of the explorer range.

I would have liked to see a special edition 100th anniversay model Datejust...TT at a decent price maybe £2500...only produced during the 100th year and only available to those with their name on Rolex paperwork dated pre 2008...that would have annoyed the speculators and money grabbers.

Oh well.

Supercased (yeah, if that's Rolex future, I guess we have to just accept it) Red Sub, matte black, maxi-dialed lume, fat hands. With the 3135 w/parachome.

Sounds good to me!

Especially a SS DJ in 40mm. After seeing the new DDII, a DJ in that size would look amazing

Yeap! And a SS Sub with the SAME case, matching ceramic bezel & updated clasp. Maybe a maxi-dial and red lettering.
