Understandably we are all occupied (or preoccupied) with Rolex`s latest offerings at Basel, has anyone seen the new Tudor Iconaut?

The bezel lettering is like the one on the GMT II C

It looks better on their site

I was a bit disappointed when i saw the pics from basel but it looks better now

Shame about the dial design.

I wonder if the movement is a modded 7750?

I like it

43mm with both chrono and GMT functions, together with something that looks close to a oyster bracelet. I think this model will be popular. I wonder how much it costs?

I think it's nice looking and the most generally useful watch that Rolex will have. The feature of having a waterproof chronograph that has GMT functions and date has been missing since they discontinued the old chrono-times with the rotatable 12 hour bezel. I'm glad to see that they are back in the game. At first I wasn't sure that I liked the styling, but it has grown on me. I'll be checking them out on my next trip overseas.

Haven't released the info on the movement .... but if they continue to use eta movement, probably they will use 7754 which has the GMT function ...

It's growing on me but the price would play a big part in it's desirability. Love all the useful functions in one watch. A more subtle and rotating bezel would help.

The MSRP is 1975 euros. There are three dial choices, Black, Gun metal and Silver, all with the red etc.. sub dials.
It is a 7754 movt.

I like that it combines the functions of the Daytona and the GMT-Master, along with the date. If only the dial was a bit more simple and classic looking, rather than so modern.

I think the price would be a bit higher than that of chronograph and aeronaut due to its addtional function (both chronograph and GMT) as well as its larger size (43mm!) .... Hmmm the price for chronograph and aeronaut is around some USD 2.2K and USD 2.7K in HK and china respectively .... wish the price for this new beautiful tudor iconaut is below USD 3.5K ....

BTW, I am a die hard fan of MC ....

Tudor is a low priced brand made by Rolex. Older models utilise Rolex oyster cases, crowns, and bracelets with off the shelf and modified Swiss movements. In recent years Tudor designers have moved away from the Rolex appearance to make their watches more unique.
Vintage Tudors displaying the Rolex acutriments are the models that have/ and will increase in value.

Tudor has some great offerings..

But since they don't import to the USA, they're really not on my radar. Sounds like their pricing is getting right up tlhere with their big brother..
