Glad I didn't wear my SD today .....
I went jogging and someting told me to put the SD on ... but then I totally forgot about it and realized it after I left the house ... on the return journey, about 5 mins from home, I stepped onto the sidewalk while running and didn't see the sprinkler ... went crashing face first into the asphalt .... my right hand broke my fall ...and I was so so darn glad I had no watch on ......I can't imagine my SD scraping through the sidewalk and leaving a streak behind .... yikes!!!

Yep....good thing you left that SD at home.
..............Somebody might have charged you for damaging the pavement when you fell... ..Hope you didn't do yourself any serious harm....

Be more careful next time, its good to hear you were able to break your fall and did not get hurt.

The SD would have broke the sidewalk
Glad all worked out! Sean

thank you all for your kind words ... yes I am fine but my wrist hurts a little ... my wife called me at the last minute to do some chore....and I totally forgot .... no, i wasn't looking at a babe .... It was one of those good workout days where I was on cloud 9 ... I felt like I could run forever and nothing in my body hurt... just like when I was 10 ....one of those days .... so while I was thinking what a stud I am, boom, I go eating some asphalt... .... I guess it is god's/nature's way of reminding one to not get too cocky ..... but all's well that ends well....

If you had been wearing the SD you would have changed history and missed the sprinkler.

You broke your hand and "it only hurts a little"...geez, it's either you're Superman in disguise or you're taking happy pills.
I'm glad you're alright though.

Just think if you had been wearing a "Super Dweller". You'd be paying for the replacement of a full city block!

Is that the miracle of owning a Rolex? Where we can still say that we're lucky in an unlucky event?
Glad you're okay tho. You're a tough guy. |
