celebration day was fantastic. But, Jimmy Page was almost dying on stage and Robert's effort was monumental. He missed a couple of notes only.

I salute Robert Plant for not caving in.

Have some of you tried to sing his stuff? I did and it is not pretty.

Imagining doing it at his age.

Well, without John it would not be the same, simply put as you know. There was a chemistry between the four and now that he's gone, it can never be again.

Their legacy is set in stone.

They are my favorite band of all time next to the beatles I would give anything to see them one time (at the time of O2 arena show I was a student and could not afford the 15k for a ticket). Plant only cares about himself and not the millions of fans that his music has touched. After many many decades it would be nice to show some appreciation to the fans who allow him to do his usually mundane solo acts and actually draw a crowd
what age are you?

Yup. Me too.

I play them enough that my six year old son and daughter have come to know most of their songs, including titles and lyrics. I often come home and they have a Zeppelin CD playing. I'm not complaining.

I hear you John. I know it wouldn't be anything like seeing them in the day. But because of my age I never got the chance to see them. I thought they sounded good for their age at the O2 arena show which I entered to get tickets more times than I could count. I agree it shouldn't be about the money and the bogus final tours but I wish robert plant would at least do a couple shows not even asking for a 35 show tour. Maybe 5 Uk shows 5 US shows. Its just tough because there are fewer and fewer great acts and to see them play even if its not at the top of their game would be a life time memory for me. Zeppelin got my into playing the bass guitar and its just frustrating not to be able to see them while they are still alive and kicking

The dream is over, and I'm glad they aren't reuniting. They were amazing back in the day.

Good job Mr. Plant. Correct decision in my book.

#1; The entire original band cannot be reunited because of a death.

#2; These guys are getting sooooo old... Watching Zeppelin perform again, would be like watching Bruce Jenner have a go at the next summer Olympics.

Zeppelin went out at their peak. This is the way I prefer to remember them. Let it go...

Here, if you want to see a concert

Abba have apparently turned down an offer of 1 BILLION dollars, in the past, to reunite.

I think I heard that it's a 35 show in 3 different cities. International and domestic. Maybe he's just too tired and old to do the same stuff over again. And money is not an issue with him afterall.

25 if I have worked it out correctly is 1989. it was all over 10 years before you were even born.

Probably none of them need the money though I'd imagine it would have come in handy for Jason
Jason Bonham is doing fine. Besides the money he gets from his fathers estate, he has played with just about everyone.

His stuff with Black Country Communion is fantastic. I passed on the O2 show at $2000, but I think I'd jump on that chance if it came up again. I'd love to see it, Zeppelin was my favorite band. But I am fine with him wanting to put that part of his past behind him. It's been over 30 years.

I'd be interested to know if the story is completely bogus, or if Branson, who is a tireless promoter, "planted" the story.

Yeah. I'm kinda skeptical about any outlandish story I see on the web these days.
