After having a few Rolex watches I'm considering Panerai. Question is which one. So many variations. My preference is leather strap and not too big since my wrist are just under 7 inches. Please share your thoughts and wrist shots, thanks.

Lots of guys here have many different brands of watches and can share their thoughts about owning both, I can't help cause I am a Rolex only guy

Also agree posting on the Panerai forum will give you even more insight

just like rolex there are so many different models to choose from, manual wind/automatic/8 day/10 day etc....

go to a panerai dealer and take a look at a few.

i have my eyes on the 524..

392 42mm Luminor might be a good choice for you if you want something a bit smaller than a full-size 44mm or 47mm

So many versions its crazy.

Personally, I love the idea of pam watches.

But it's like wearing a clock on my wrist.

Too bad for me because I think they are so sexy.

If u don't want too big, go with a 40mm version.

I think the best way to narrow it down is to decide on Radiomir vs. Luminor as the Submersibles will almost certainly be bigger than you'd like. Then probably 44mm or 40mm is your next choice. There's a great thread on smaller PAMs with a lot of wrist shots so I'd suggest searching for that one.

When I went through my search, I ended up with a 121 which has an El Primero movement and is 40mm.

I have a small 6.4 inch wrist and own a PAM 311. It actually fits nicely and because it is titanium very light. Very comfortable. I will try to dig up some wrist shots

I have a 6.5 inch wrist and I just bought a PAM 422, which is a whopping 47mm.

It wears surprisingly well though and it doesn't feel huge on my wrist.

Prior to this, my largest watches were/are the speedmaster pro and Breitling aerospace at 42mm.

The rest are all 40. (Rolex and Damasko)

I'm 6'1 / 180 lbs and 6.5 inch wrist.

For a wide range of styles, try to hunt down a 512, 337, 338 or 392. While doing that, try some larger ones just for fun....you might find something you love.

With your wrist size a 44mm is quite fine, will take 2-3 days to get used to it but after you will love it, I would suggest a 233, "dot dial" if you can find one, they're much nicer IMO than AM/PM, had one 98% new but I flipped it a few days ago
