I had a similar struggle recently where I wasn't sure if I wanetd the black bezel or the BLNR. I wanted to see the BLNR in person before I made a decision, but was having a hard time finding one at an AD. I finally located one, tried it on, and bought it on the spot. Thus, I would wait until you can get the one you really want. Best of luck with your search!

As he and others have said, do not settle. You will regret it, and always want the BLNR. If you have saved with that in mind, just hang on, and one will come. It will be well worth the wait I assure you.

Never settle. Will only lead to regret or flipping.

If I'd never settle for a woman, I'd certainly never settle for a watch.

In my opinion you had better waiting to buy just the model you had originally planned.

A Rolex is too much money to ever settle for. Do some research here, PM the trusted sellers and when you feel comfortable with them then buy one.

What he said!

Besides, a Trusted Seller here would likely have, or be able to source you a new one, right now.

No you shouldn't wait!!! IMMEDIATELY contact DavidSW and get that BLNR on your wrist. He could likely have one to you by Monday. ADs are overrated

Congratulations on turning 30! Wait, my friend, for the piece that you really desire. Never, ever settle when you can, and in this case you can wait a little bit. It's an excellent choice of timepiece. I have the black GMT and I love it.

Don't settle as you will regret it. Nothing wrong with the 116710 LN, but if you truly want the BLNR, then wait. The other alternative as mentioned in prior posts is to buy from a trusted seller on this Forum. Although, personally, I prefer going through my AD for purchases, a trusted seller is a great alternative for hard-to-come-by models like the BLNR.

It seems to me that the LA area has plenty of ADs that will be able to get you the watch you want. The better alternative, however, would be, as previously suggested, to go with our trusted sellers.

Most of us on TRF have bought from a trusted seller on this forum, I suggest you do what i did and many others, arrange the purchase from a trusted seller (complete the transaction by wire) and have it delivered to the hotel you are staying at when you go to the USA. The freight is tracked so you can see where your parcel is and bam it arrives like magic and happiness prevails.....

Make sure you actually try it on and wear it for a while before buying it. Ive known many who have been disappointed by this watch....Pics on here are great..in person, well thats a different story.

Don't buy without trying.....
