My Y-series black bezel GMT-II was discontinued at least 5 years ago. One of our trusted sellers has the same watch on sale now for over 2x what I paid 12 years ago.
I don't happen to care, since that watch is my absolute favorite and gets about 95% of my wrist time. It's one watch I would never get rid of.

----------------------- Honestly, there would be little to no effect on the value of a model that was recently discontinued. Chances are the reason it was taken out of production is because of soft sales so the demand for the watch is likely not there. 75 years from now, who knows.

All discontinued Rolexes seem to go up in value. I guess maybe one day my 16610 sub will be worth some nice cash for my kid..
