Heh, lots of cynical comments there re my "last watch" comment- oh well, if another watch does show up on the horizon- can always say I meant "last watch for the month" or something.
Nope- last watch it is.
Bought the Missus an all gold Ladies Datejust last month, so am truly flattened out

Someone asked about the friend whom I was helping choose a watch; he had his mind set on a DJII- the green Romans with a slate dial. Lovely watch that, suited him perfectly
DJ's really sail off the shelves in this part of the world- the "sporty" models (GMTs Subs etc) trail a long way behind

And the AD had the last word when I told him that this would, I repeat really really would , be my last Rolex; he just grinned and said "Certainly sir, that's what they all say, don't they?"

Having said that- the Explorer I in today's WRUW looks good, eh?
Just sayin'..

Blusey never disappoints. Congrats.

As for last. Been there too. But given a few years after funds are replenished, you might get the itch again. I bought 2 in a week because I couldnt pass up the deals. Wiped me out. Still wiped out, but if in a year or two I have funds again, what else will bring me more pleasure?

If this truly your last one, then you have chosen very well. The LB is a true work of art and the blue dial is something else. Absolutely love it. Was at my local AD today and tried on the exact same piece. Was shopping for my Wife's Christmas present and got sidetracked. Had to dig down deep to restrain myself from taking this one home.

Superb choice, but once you get that beauty in full gold then you can maybe possibly call it your last...

Wow, I wish I had a friend who needed help buying a Rolex; Karma is so tough. Beautiful ceramic. It's just phenomenal!
