16610 Weight vs 16613 Weight

Just curious, but can you feel the difference in weight between a 16610 non-sel versus a 16613 non-sel non gold clasp?

As mentioned in other posts I am looking to pickup a 16613 and may have found one, I am going just to see it Saturday and if I like it I would buy it the following week.

At first I was leaning towards the SEL gold through clasp version, but for some reason the non gold clasp non-sel is speaking to me. I looked at my DJII today and it had small scratches in the PCL on the clasp, which is ok, it happens, but if I had the non gold clasp 16613 I would not have to worry about scratches.

Thanks. I wasn't sure if I'd feel a difference, I was hoping it would be a little heavier.

It is a little heavier, but the delta from SS center links and bezel to gold isn't a large difference.

Owned/rotated both for a while. No perceptible difference.

Here you go. T serial, non SEL, stainless buckle. Bought new in 1997. I will never sell it. It has been with me everywhere for almost 18 years.

Looks great Sublover2166! How many times has it been serviced? Has the TT bracelet held up well?

Very nice! Should I even ask what retail was in 97? The one I'm looking at is an A serial

Serviced by RSC once and by Rik Dietel at Time Care inc, twice. Just serviced this past February. Bracelet has a little wear but not anywhere near needing a restoration.

Retail at my AD was 5,800 USD. Got it discounted brand new for 5,200USD.
February24, 1997. Still have the sales receipt.

That's awesome. I'm looking forward to getting one here soon. I had a U serial 16610 but traded it on the DSSD. I do miss that watch so what better way to replace it than with a blue 16613!

I've seen theads and comments on the non Sel and to lol for the sel but I think the non SEL will be fine.
