Icon20 New to Rolex- Need advice!

I am in the market for a my first preowned ladies Rolex for around $3500. I want to know which features/watches are most likely to retain value over time. I am interested in a two tone datejust, preferably MOP or light dial, fluted bezel. It is imperative that all parts are original. How has the datejust changed from 80's, 90's? I want as new as possible in my price range. Also, what is most reputable online dealer as I cannot locate a preowned ladies watch locally. I am not opposed to a ladies Omega Seamaster, I just do not have any idea how they retain value. Any advice or help would be greatly appreciated!

There are plenty of "trusted" sellers on this website you might consider. You usually get your shipment the next day. As far as value, a watch isn't a great investment, especially in your price range. However Rolex tend to keep their value well. Also "newer" isn't nescecerelly better. It's not like buying an iPhone, all Rolex are very accurate as far as time keeping.

I would recommend one with a sapphire crystal.

If you buy preowned at a good price, you will be fine.

I have a lady friend that bought a steel DJ a few years ago for about 3k...she's taken nice care of it and even had it serviced. I would be willing to bet she could get pretty close to that if she sold it today...which she's not.
