Tudor Oysterdate 38mm
Hello, new to this forum as I've been looking for an Oysterdate, and have come to learn (thanks to you guys and gals) that you have to be pretty careful as the fakes can be pretty convincing to a relatively untrained eye (like mine ;) )
This one came up on my local Kijiji: http://www.kijiji.ca/v-jewelry-watch...ationFlag=true Looking for your opinion(s) if it is real, potentially real but redialed or a fake? |

I have seen a bunch of these...all in Hong Kong, show up on eBay. All appear to have a genuine Tudor movement.
Here is a photo of one (still glows so brightly after all those years?) and I have seen other auctions with similar "night" shots. Then I saw another eBay ad showing the watch came with a 7836 Rolex bracelet. A little research shows this bracelet and the 382 endlinks are now being counterfeited. Here is a link on that: http://www.rwgforum.net/topic/141396...the-yuki-7836/ Then I found this watch which it says is a replica (second photo). That is being advertised for $249. http://www.watch-superior.com/7024-52087.html So I was going to buy one of these but not will not. |
