Wrist abrasion from TT Sub

A few years ago I gave a TT Sub to my son for college graduation.
He is currently complaining about some wrist abrasion, almost rash-like marks, so he has had to stop wearing it for the time being. He is a lefty, so it is worn on the right wrist.
I am sure it is not a reaction to the alloy in the band, when worn on the other wrist, no problem. Any thoughts or recommendations?

Could be the work performed by him. For example, if he writes a lot, could be that repeted movement of the hand gaves him the abrasion. Does he ware the watch on the left hand or right one?

I was thinking the same thing. Abrasions...the only thing I cant think of right now that leads to them is that he's wearing the watch too tight. Try loosening it about one-two holes on the clasp, but not loose enough so that it moves back and forth all over his wrist like a regular link bracelet would.

Funny enough my first Sea-Dweller in 2005 caused this very problem, could not explain it, had to stop wearing, thought it might be due to the extral Nickel content leaking in the 904L Steel.

Sold that watch, not had the problem with any others, just that one.

Also, if there is a lot of grime and dirt on the caseback and underside of the links, your skin could react to this.
